From childhood I have always had an avid interest in the traditional art of the gypsies: the old showmans caravans, the fairground rides and the long boat canalware known as roses and castles.

The technique of the one brush stroke art is identical to the traditional Spanish hand painted fans which is intriguing and also makes the colourful pieces very popular in this part of the world!
