If it is peace and tranquillity that you are after, Casa de Los Limones is the perfect cottage for you. Coupled with its convenient location, beautiful restoration and high standard of furnishings and decor, I feel confident that anybody staying in my cottage will be delighted with their choice of accommodation.
45 mins drive from Malaga airport, the house is located in La Molina, a small hamlet in the Axarquia, an area where in many instances time stands still. Casa de Los Limones is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers, photographers and artists to enjoy the fantastic views and glimpse Spanish country life.

Nestling amongst the lemon groves just off the main road from the thriving village of Benamargosa to the market town of Rio Gordo you will find yourself within easy access of both villages which boast a remarkable array of amenities: banks, post offices, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, health centres, tobacconists, butchers, bakers & candlestick makers!
Both villages have beautiful public swimming pools open during the summer months.
A 20 minute drive away is the coastal resort of Tore del Mar, renowned for its´ excellent fish restaurants and bustling night life, whilst Vélez-Malaga, the capital of the Axarquia region, offers good shopping, marvellous tapas bars, history and culture.
The cottage itself is more than 150 years old and retains its original style and charm: sleeps 4, fully fitted kitchen, shower room and dining/sitting room. The house has satellite TV, telephone connection, internet and wood burning stove. There are patios to the front and rear of the property with bar.b.q, seating area and walled courtyard.

LOS PEPES
This is one of the oldest bars in the village, bought by the family who now run it, nearly 40 years ago. It retains its traditional charm but is no longer made of bamboo as in an original photo in the bar!
The accommodation is new and run to a very high standard with daily cleaner, fresh towels every other day and bed linen change twice a week (or more if required) All rooms have an en suite, TV and air conditioning.

CELAO
You will be hard pushed to find a friendlier couple than Paco and Paqui who run this bar and restaurant with the help of their 2 daughters.
Paco also speaks some English, having worked in the restaurant trade in the uk. Rooms are clean and economical with shared bathrooms and the self contained apartment offers particularly good value for money.
