Made using traditional techniques this copy of "La Virgin de Korsum" a Russian Icon from the 18th century measeures 70cmx54cm.
Canvas has been stuck onto wood and then treated with Gesso before the gold leaf and paint detail.
Jorge has an affinity with nature which he finds inspirational. Much of his work is based on flowers, leaves and birds.
